I collaborated and owned projects. This project includes:
Web Design, UI, UX, Design Systems
Curated hotel Websites
At Hilton, I contributed to various teams, including the Curated pod. Working alongside a phenomenal team—made up of Senior Content Designers, Lead UI Designers, a Project Manager, a Lead Delivery Manager, a Senior Manager of Digital Technology, a Digital Accessibility Specialist, and more—I played a key role in the following site builds:
Conrad Cairo, Conrad Ft Lauderdale, Conrad New York Downtown, Hilton Los Cabos
From there, my Senior UI Designer teammate and I split the work on Conrad Dalian so I could be trained to own a future site design.
My first solo site design was for Hilton Cartagena. The project's success was measured by my ability to adhere to Hilton's brand standards while also capturing the unique vision of the individual hotel. Based on the success of this project, I was then assigned to oversee two Curated site designs simultaneously for my next assignment.
Below is some of the feedback we received from the client, Hilton Cartagena:
“We want to congratulate the team!! In general, the look and fell and the texts are beautiful and captures the essence of our beloved hotel… It is very impressive :)”
Brand System
While working at Hilton, I was part of the Brand pod, overseeing the assets for Hilton’s 24+ brands.
The Challenge
Initially, the team faced challenges with a disorganized system for asset delivery, organization, and access. There was no solid method, clear source of truth, or user-friendly access point for non-designers to obtain the exact assets they needed.
The Solution
Collaborating with a Senior Mobile Designer, we developed a comprehensive and intuitive system on Figma. Our first iteration allowed designers to insert a logo into preset variant boxes to create the necessary assets, but it proved to be too cumbersome.
In the final version, we centralized asset management, pulling everything from a single source. This system streamlined access across various formats, enabling developers, marketing teams, and other departments to efficiently find and use the assets, thereby enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
The Results
Here’s a glimpse of the results we achieved:
The Clunky First Iteration
We pivoted after realizing it would take a designer to come in here and export the correct assets properly. We needed something more foolproof and efficient than this setup.
Hilton Honors Loyalty Program
I worked in the Hilton Honors Loyalty Program pod, where our team focused on designing the desktop, mobile, and app interfaces for the Loyalty Program. While I can't share detailed visuals since the project is ongoing, I can outline our process.
Our research team conducted extensive rounds of testing to gather crucial insights. These insights helped identify key elements beyond the MVP, understand how typical users wanted to interact with the site and app, and pinpoint user frustrations or satisfactions with other companies' loyalty programs. This research guided my approach to our design, ensuring a user-centered and effective outcome.
Our objective was to redesign the Hilton Honors interface to clearly communicate benefits and boost conversion rates to the loyalty program. Due to a reorganization at Hilton, my contract concluded before the project was finalized.
